Hot Milk

Add Pro-Cal and stir until dissolved. Hint - add drinking chocolate for a delicious bed time drink.

Paste Pro-Cal with a little warm water until smooth and add to the soup.

    Pro-Cal - Milkshake

 

Milkshake

Paste 5 scoops of Pro-Cal and 4 teaspoons of Nesquick together with a little warm water. Add 240ml of cold milk, whisk well. Serve chilled.

Pro-Cal - Casseroles/Stews/Curries

Casseroles / Stews / Curries

Sprinkle Pro-Cal onto the meal and stir until dissolved.

 

 Pro-Cal - Baby Rice, Ready Brek, Porridge

Prepare cereal as directed, stir in the Pro-Cal until dissolved.

Pro-Cal - Puréed Food

Puréed Food

Purée food as usual. Add Pro-Cal, mix well, add thickening agent. Stir until thickened. Prepare and serve as usual.

Baby Food

Stir Pro-Cal into jar or packet baby food before serving.

  Pro-Cal - Porridge

Porridge

Sprinkle Pro-Cal onto the porridge and stir until dissolved.

Sprinkle Pro-Cal onto the warm meal and stir gently until dissolved.

Mix the Pro-Cal with the drink powder and stir in the hot milk or water.

For best results mix the Pro-Cal with a little warm water until smooth and stir into the yoghurt.

Mix the coffee, milk and Pro-Cal and stir in the hot water.

Paste the Pro-Cal with a little hot water and then add milk. Add one scoop or sachet per 100ml. Refrigerate if not used immediately.

Mix the Pro-Cal with the powdered dessert and then make up as directed. Alternatively stir into the ready made dessert.

Add Pro-Cal into warm water when preparing gravy or sauces, stir in well.

Mayonnaise Fillings

Stir Pro-Cal into mayonnaise for sandwiches or jacket potato fillings. e.g. tuna or egg mayonnaise.

All in one Pro-Cal Cake

Serves: 8   Prep: 10 mins

Cook: 30 mins approx.

Calories: 580 kcal per person

        Sponge

  • 175g margarine or butter at room temperature
  • 175g caster sugar
  • 175g self-raising flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2-3 drops of vanilla essence
  • 90g of Pro-Cal                              (6 sachets or 6 blue scoops)
  • 3 tsp of warm water

        Butter Icing

  • 50g butter or margarine
  • 220g icing sugar
  • 45g Pro-Cal
  • 2 drops of vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp of milk to bind

 

1 Whisk together until light and creamy

       

1 Pre-heat the oven to 170° C / gas mark 3.

2 Grease and line two 7 inch sponge tins.

3 Sieve flour and baking powder into a large bowl.

4 Add the other ingredients and whisk until      combined

5 Divide the mixture between the two sponge tins and bake for approx. 30 minutes.

6 When cool, sandwich together with 2 tbsp of jam and butter icing.
